The Zhongce Rubber Group (ZC Rubber) has announced the appointment of Martin Winter as technical director of tire development EMEA and Americas at the ZC Rubber Europe Technical Center in Hannover, Germany.

Winter will work with and report directly to Martin Wells, the vice president of ZC Technical Center and global original equipment (OE). He will also work alongside Jörn Tietjens, ZC’s key account manager of OE. He will support the tire maker’s OE project development and compliance with the latest international legal regulations.

In addition to leading tire development, Winter will be responsible for testing and corresponding activities related to the tire manufacturer’s OE project development. He will also provide technical support and guidance to all departments relating to tires, regulations and standards.

Winter brings with him 20 years of experience in the tire manufacturing and OE development sectors, having previously worked with Continental, Goodyear Dunlop Tires, Hankook and Sentury.

“It’s great to have Martin Winter on board as he has profound knowledge of OE developments with leading OEMs and can be of great support to the essential processes to establish ZC Rubber as a sustainable partner for the automotive industry in Europe and the USA,” commented Wells.

“With our technical team growing, we are confident to expand our global OE business at a faster pace,” added a ZC Rubber spokesperson. “We look forward to collaborating with the world’s leading auto makers and creating more value for global customers in the future.”

ZC Rubber opened its Europe Technical Center (ETC) in 2021. The facility provides support for the company’s global development, in terms of developing OE projects and working with key OE accounts.
