Innovative tire pressure app for cell phones developed by Mitas

Mitas has introduced a new mobile tire pressure app for Android, iOS, and Windows phones. The facility will enable farmers to easily find the right pressure for their tires to achieve the best results in the field and on the road.

Users can simply select the size they are using, the set up speed and cargo weight, and the right tire pressure is immediately displayed on the screen of their phone.

Pavel Kott, product manager for Mitas agricultural tires, said, “Mitas is aware of the importance of the correct tire pressure settings for agricultural work. Tires with the right pressure not only cause less damage to the soil through compaction but also provide better traction and lower slippage, and positively influence fuel consumption.”

The user-friendly interface of the new app enables farmers to quickly choose their tires from a list of available sizes and tread patterns. Full text search by different parameters is also an option. The speed can be set in km/h or mph and the cargo weight (load per tire) either in kilograms or pounds. The resulting tire pressure is presented in bar or PSI.
