ZF is showcasing a multitude of technologies at Tire Technology Expo in Hannover, Germany, including the ZF M-OTI geometry measurement device and the company’s latest EOL test bench for truck and bus tires – the ZF-LUB6 TBR.
The ZF M-OTI utilizes a sheet-of-light sensor to measure run-out, bulge and depression. It uses the same software as installed on many other ZF EOL test benches, and also fits the majority of EOL tire measurement machines on the market.
Fully customizable by design, the ZF M-OTI can meet a wide range of requirements. With its own switch cabinet, it can be combined with an existing machine or run as a standalone system. Furthermore, the ZF M-OTI benefits from customized algorithms and reliable servo drives and is compatible with EasyTeach, enabling teach data to be shared between test benches.
The new ZF-LUB6 TBR tire test bench is used within the final finishing system for truck, bus and off-highway tires. It can measure unbalance, uniformity and geometry while consuming up to 40% less energy than separate systems.
