At this year’s Tire Technology Expo, Mondon and Seeb Automation will showcase their partnership and focus on Industry 4.0. The French machinery designers and manufacturers are combining their skills to offer a cutting-edge technology for tire and rubber preparation.

As a result of many years of cooperation, Mondon and Seeb Automation have developed a global solution, providing advanced technology and automation to comply with Industry 4.0 requirements.

Already utilized by Mondon in several tire plants in locations around the world, turret technology enables an increase in the productivity and efficiency of the tire preparation process. Turret technology answers the tire manufacturers’ demand for traceability of production and reductions in labor costs. Another advantage of the solution is that it reduces downtime and ensures a constant production quality to meet market requirements. Mondon designs and manufactures automatic spooling lines – FSP Series – to rewind up to 30 spools at the same time. The company’s innovative turret winders can also be offered as turnkey solutions for increasing productivity on existing production lines. The line is equipped with all the necessary sensors and quality control devices, in line with Industry 4.0 requirements. In addition to the efficient FSP Series, Seeb Automation manages bobbin logistics after rewinding. The unloading operation is fully automatic and doesn’t require any operator intervention. The complete cell is autonomous and ensures high productivity rates.

These technologies represent reliable solutions for moving to Industry 4.0, and offer the opportunity to increase efficiency of tire plants. Mondon and Seeb Automation remain committed to building the industry of the future.
