Fratera and Enviro receive construction permit for tire recycling plant

LinkedIn +

Property owner Fratera has been granted a construction permit for a planned end-of-life tire recycling facility for Scandinavian Enviro Systems. The plan is to establish the previously announced Enviro recycling plant on an industrial site in the Lillesjö district of Uddevalla Municipality in Sweden.

Enviro obtained an environmental permit in the summer of 2022, which will enable the company to recycle up to 60,000 tons of end-of-life tires each year.

A final go-ahead for the new plant depends on several factors, including securing access to end-of-life tires and agreements covering the delivery of recovered materials.
