The first Apollo Truck Tyre Zone (ATTZ) has been opened in Malaysia. This one stop solution center will provide a range of services to commercial fleets in the region.

Satish Sharma, president of Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa for Apollo Tyres, said, “Apollo is committed to bringing the best of its products and services to its customers. This state-of-the-art truck service center brings together Apollo’s extensive experience in truck and bus radials along with Sin Chu Hin’s 80-year long local experience, in a range of services and solutions for fleets in Malaysia – further cementing our steadfast commitment to the Malaysian automotive industry.”

In addition to offering application-based tire recommendations, the ATTZ is equipped with facilities including a computerized truck tire alignment machine, automatic tire changer, and nitrogen inflator.

The services provided by the center will ultimately help customers to reduce maintenance costs and fuel consumption. The ATTZ also has a training center to guide consumers through the purchasing process.

“We see a vast opportunity in Batu Pahat, which is a thriving business destination at the tip of Peninsular Malaysia, specially for our truck radials. The ATTZ is in fact the first of several truck service centers we are planning to open in partnership with our business partners in the ASEAN region,” added Shubhro Ghosh, group head, ASEAN, Middle East and Africa region at Apollo Tyres.
